for those who have studied mechanical engineering before, i bet you must have heard of this name during your studies... there are quite a few numbers of books that are authored by this guy... his tonnes of knowledge covers fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and heat transfer... for me, to understand the fundamentals of these subjects are already a burden, let alone writing a book on it... but this guy right here managed to do it all brilliantly... his way of writing and explaining each topic, made it easier to understand... i googled his name for his background, but all the search engine could dig out for me are links to his books... and shown below are just a few...

i used to idolize rockstars before, but i guess it's time to move on and admire someone better, like yunus a. cengel... hopefully he will still be there with us for years to come, to share his wisdom... at least until i'm fully equipped to write my own book ^_- insyaAllah...
